Christopher M. Trotta serves as an Energy Solutions Business Development Representative at Environmental Systems Co. (ESC), where he leverages nearly two decades of industry experience to drive energy efficiency initiatives and build strong, long-term client relationships.
Chris is a trusted advisor to a broad range of customers—from small businesses to national franchises, commercial property managers, industrial facilities, and municipal, state, and federal agencies. His expertise spans energy auditing, project development, and full-cycle implementation of energy efficiency measures including lighting and controls, weatherization, HVAC controls, refrigeration upgrades, and EV charging systems. Chris also works closely with utility partners to manage incentives, and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
Chris has consistently delivered measurable energy savings through thoughtful project management and client-focused strategies.
Chris is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Energy Auditor (CEA). He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Central Connecticut State University and maintains additional certifications in building operations and spray polyurethane foam safety. He is also a licensed Massachusetts Construction Supervisor.
Active in the industry and his community, Chris is an Associate Member of the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), a member of the Connecticut Power and Energy Society, and the International Association of Lighting Management Companies (NALMCO). He is also a Paul Harris Fellow of the Devon (CT) Rotary Club.
