Matthew Montano
Energy Solutions Project Engineer
As a Project Engineer at Environmental Systems Co. (ESC), Matthew Montano is responsible for managing energy and renewable energy projects. In this role, he acts as a developer of energy efficiency and EV charging station initiatives. Matthew conducts detailed evaluations of project requirements, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and other critical energy efficiency calculations.
Matthew began his career at ESC as an Energy Engineering intern, where he excelled in tasks such as utility bill data entry, energy consumption analysis, and managing project submittals for utility incentives. He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Central Connecticut State University and is certified as an Engineer in Training (EIT) and OSHA 10. Matthew is dedicated to advancing his knowledge of engineering and is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
