Lead Compressed Air Specialist
Ross Orr is a nationally recognized Compressed Air Specialist serving Compressor Energy Services’ (CES) customers for over 8 years. He brings over three decades of industry experience to his role. Ross uses his expertise by providing engineering and design of energy-efficient compressed air systems.
His expertise spans all types and sizes of compressed air systems, vacuum systems, process cooling systems, and energy management strategies. Ross has performed hundreds of system assessments worldwide, helping manufacturers achieve significant energy savings and improved system reliability.
Ross had been at CES for over 8 years when ESC and CES joined forces in May of 2024. Prior to CES, Ross worked for 25 years at Scales Air Compressor where he progressed from Sales Engineer to Sales Manager and ran compressed air training classes for the service and sales department and trained new hires.
Ross is highly credentialed, holding certifications as a CAC-Compressed Air Challenge Level 1 Instructor, a Certified Compressed Air Systems Specialist (CCASS) by CAGI, and an AIRMaster+ Specialist by the U.S. Department of Energy. These qualifications place him among an elite group of professionals, with less than 20 individuals holding all these certifications. In addition to his technical skills and certifications, Ross has contributed industry knowledge to the CAC Manual Best Practices for Compressed Air Systems - Second Edition.
