Luigi Caputo
Director, Building Automation Operations
Luigi Caputo serves as the Building Automation Operations Manager at Environmental Systems Co. (ESC), working with building managers and owners to implement sustainable solutions that simplify facility operations and management. Luigi has worked with ESC for over a decade, having started his career with the company as a Control Specialist / Consultant, completing programming testing and calibration and repairing control systems. He works with service and engineering managers, reviewing scope and labor specifications and supporting project management. He oversees field labor, working in collaboration with the Building Automation and service groups.
Prior to joining ESC, Luigi spent several years working as a controls programmer,HVAC installer and service technician for residential and commercial customers. He also gained invaluable experience completing direct digital control services, evaluating environmental conditions and comparing the measurements to the desired settings for a range of building products that include Barber-Colman and Honeywell.
A graduate of Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in Ansonia, Connecticut, Luigi has several certifications and licensures, including OSHA-30, S2, and Niagara 4 certifications.
